PT. SILKargo Indonesia is the merger company within the Samudera Indonesia
 Group
which consists of PT. Satuan Harapan (International Freight Forwarding), PT.
Ista Samudera Cargo (Air Freight Forwarding), PT. Masaji Prayasa Cargo
(General Freight Forwarding) and PT. Bristar Mitra Cargo (Freight Forwarding &
Agency).
PT. Satuan Harapan has been determined as the “Platform Company”
and the name of PT. Satuan Harapan is changed to PT. SILKargo Indonesia, which
other 3 companies have been merged into PT. Satuan Harapan previously. January
1, 2005 PT. SILKargo Indonesia starts to operate under the Brand Name of
SILKargo.
SILKargo is established as a response of Cargo transportation business
development, where nowadays the necessity of the 3rd party logistics presence
is urgently required. That is why the merger pattern produced SILKargo as a
logistics company is to combine the strengths possessed by each company to
provide each other in order to give the highest possible service level to all
customers.
